Peek-a-boo, I see a clown!
My tot's new peekaboo friend is here.
Recently, I was telling my tot about the circus and taught her how to draw a clown from the letter "A". Now, whenever we are with paper and a pen, her first request is to see a clown.
This morning she started a rut of seeing a clown and I thought why not make a clown craft today.

It was fun selecting the cute components that we used in making the clown. Most of all, my tot laughed her heart out when I used our new clown to perform peek-a-boo for her.
MATERIALS:
1 Popsicle stick (14.8cm x 1.7cm)
Foam sheet (yellow, red & pink)
Wiggle eyes (2)
Multicolor thread
One round red bead/pom-pom
Paint (blue)
Paintbrush
Black pencil
Glue
Scissor
Buttons

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Paint the popsicle stick blue (~9cm) and let them dry.
2. Cut the shapes for clown hat, mouth, and collar from foam sheets.

3. Glue wiggle eyes, clown collar, hat, mouth and red bead (or pom-pom) for the nose.

4. Cut a few strands of multicolour thread (~3cm) and glue on each side to make hair as shown in the picture below.

5. Make eyebrows and smiley on the mouth with a black pen.
6. Decorate the clown with buttons. And you're done.
