Today, we have Shilpi sharing this lovely doodle art wall hanging. She is a fabulous painter and an art teacher for kids. You can read more about her at the end of the post.
Did you know that doodling helps kids learn how to concentrate? This craft allows kids to use their creativity by drawing doodle art on paper leaves. They can then use it as a keepsake by converting the art into a beautiful wall hanging.
Teachers can make it a collaborative art project where each kid doodles on a leaf and then hanging all the leaves together as a gorgeous decoration in the classroom.
Parents can make this a fun home activity with one or more kids as well. This is an easy art activity for preschool and kindergarten kids.

HOW TO MAKE PAPER LEAF DOODLE ART FOR KIDS?
SUPPLIES
Leaves template
Color Markers
Ribbon
Thread
Tape
Thick straw
Scissor
Decorative beads (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Draw the shape of leaves on a paper. You can also download our free template under supplies.
2. Let kids enjoy doodling each leaf with different designs of their choice with colorful markers.
3. Cut the paper around leaves roughly. It will make easier to cut final leaves better.
4. Cut the leaves carefully.

5. Take a thick thread. Cut this thread in 5 pieces. ( 3 pieces - 8 inches, 2 pieces – 10 inches)
6. Stick one thread to the back of the leaf with the help of tape. Do this for all the leaves.
7. Add beads of your choice (optional) to the thread. This will make it look more beautiful.
8. Take one thick straw and tie all the other ends of the thread to the straw. Make a pattern of short, long strings.
9. Tape the thread on straw from the backside after tying it. This will keep the thread in place and will not slide on straw.
10. Take a piece of ribbon (approx.- 12 inches) and tie it at both ends of the straw.
That's it! Beautiful doodle art wall hanging is ready to decorate your kids'room or classroom.
