Did you know you can make these cute animal crafts from an empty egg carton? As we are all home-bound and limited in our ability to visit craft stores, it is useful to re-use and re-cycle material from essential items such as egg cartons, pastas, and cardboard tubes.
In this recycled craft, we used egg cartons to make a funky monkey, a naughty panda, and a cutie tiger. With just a scissor and some colorful paint, your child can make adorable animal figurines that they can use during pretend play or as countertop decorations in their rooms.

MATERIALS:
Egg Carton
Paint (Orange, White, Brown, Peach)
Paintbrush
Googly Eyes
Cardstock Papers (Brown, Black, Orange)
Color Markers
Glue
INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE EGG CARTON MONKEY:
Step 1: Cut out the egg carton into individual pieces.
Step 2: Paint one egg carton piece with brown color and let it dry.
Step 3: After brown paint dries, make monkey's face (heart shape without the pointed edge) using peach paint.
Step 4: While paint is drying, cutout the shape of monkey's ear from brown cardstock paper and make the inside of the ear using peach paint. Let the paint dry.
Step 5: Glue ears on egg carton monkey face.
Step 6: Glue googly eyes and make monkey's nose/mouth using a black marker.
Your funky monkey is ready!
INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE EGG CARTON TIGER:
Step 1: Cut out the egg carton into individual pieces.
Step 2: Paint one egg carton piece with orange color and let it dry.
Step 3: After orange paint dries, glue googly eyes on tiger's face.
Step 4: Make tiger's stripes, nose, mouth and whiskers using brown marker.
Step 5: Cut out the shape of tiger's ear from orange cardstock paper and make the inside of the ear using brown market paint.
Step 6: Glue ears on egg carton tiger face.
Your naughty tiger is ready!
INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE EGG CARTON PANDA:
Step 1: Cut out the egg carton into individual pieces.
Step 2: Paint one egg carton piece with white color and let it dry.
Step 3: Cut out the shape of panda's eyes from black cardstock paper and add a small dot using white paint. We used back of our paintbrush to make the eyeball. Glue the eyes on egg carton.
Step 4: Cut out the shape of panda's ears from black cardstock paper and glue them on panda.
Step 5: Make panda's nose and mouth using black marker.
Your cutie panda is ready!
