HOW TO MAKE GREETING CARD FOR DIWALI?

SUPPLIES:
Cardstock Papers
Scissor
Glue
Black Marker

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Take a rectangular white cardstock paper. We used card paper of roughly 8x6 inches but you can use paper of any dimensions.

Step 2: Fold 1/3rd of the card paper along the longer side. For our 8"x 6" card paper, we folded around 2 inches.

Step 3: To make diya, cut out a semi-circular shape (~2 inches in diameter) from blue paper. Glue 3 diyas on the wider side of the card as shown.

Step 4: Decorate the diyas with small diamond shaped yellow paper cutting.

Step 5: Cut out the shape of flame from maroon, orange and yellow craft paper (in decreasing sizes) and stick them together. Then glue the completed flames on the folded part of cardstock such that when you fold the card the flames aligns nicely with the diyas.

Step 6: Let your child personalize the card with a Diwali greetings for family and friends.
